UNIOSUN notice to staff, students and visitors on the use of car stickers and tallies


The Principal Officers at their meeting of Friday, 19th November 2021 approved the use of car tags and tallies across the Campuses of the University and decided as follows:

  1. Staff and students are to be issued with car stickers and tallies. The tallies will be kept by the driver while the sticker will be conspicuously displayed on the front windscreen of the vehicle;
  2. Staff and students are to release the tally to anyone who wants to take the vehicle out for repair or for any purpose(s); and
  3. Only visitors will be issued tallies on entering to the Campus and it will be submitted when driving out of the Campus while the Security is expected to book the vehicle registration number and the tag number.

The Principal Officers also approved that the cost of the car sticker will be one thousand naira (N1,000.00) naira only with a proviso that any staff that has more than one (1) vehicle for car sticker registration would be at a discount of seven hundred and fifty (N750.00) naira only for each additional vehicle sticker.

All Staff and students that have vehicles should pay the money into Access Bank, 0000504412, Osun State University Miscellaneous Account. After payment, they should change the teller to University receipt at the Cash Office (for Osogbo) and College Account Officers in the Colleges/Campuses.

All staff and students concerned are to note that they have the opportunity to purchase the sticker between now and next 30 days, thereafter, vehicle without sticker will not be allowed to come in and will be treated as vehicle of a visitor.
